A LETTER FROM THE OWNER

To Every Technician Thinking About Joining Us

Jeffrey Roy, owner of Primary Care Auto Repair

I'm Jeff Roy, and I own Primary Care Auto Repair. We've been serving Warwick since 2012, and today we run two shops: 33 Locust Ave and 2406 Post Rd.

I want to tell you how I think about the people who work here, because it's the reason this shop works.

I believe in people. I invest in people.

My philosophy is simple: hire good people and bring them up. I take great pride in treating my employees like family. If someone ever moves on, I know they'll leave in a far better place than when they joined us.

That's why we pay for your ASE tests when you pass, give you free ongoing training, and give you a clear path to move up. You should be growing every year you're here.

How we run this shop

  1. I take care of my employees.
  2. The employees take care of the customers.
  3. The customers take care of the business.

You're only as good as your tools

I'm big on equipping my people to succeed. That's why we have a Hofmann 7-Series alignment, Snap-on Zeus and Topdon scan tools, a lift in every bay, brand-new A/C equipment, and shop-owned specialty tools for you to use.

We pay for real-world work

The labor guide is just that: a guide, not a bible. It's built around a technician working on a brand-new car. Here in New England, we deal with rust, rot and cars older than what the dealership is working on. So every job pays a 20% bump over book. And if you're coming from a dealer, you know warranty work never pays what it should. Here, you get paid 100% on warranty.

Weekends are for your family

We don't believe in working weekends. Weekends are for your friends and your family.

Is it perfect?

No. But it's the best culture I've ever seen, and as the owner, I insist on it. We respect our technicians, we don't babysit them, and we really enjoy working together.

Don't take my word for it. Come tour the shop, talk one-on-one with any of my techs, and shadow someone for a day. If it's a fit, we'll make joining as easy as possible.
